Having had a Clevamama Toddler Pillow for some time, and using it in standard adult-sized pillow cases, I was excited to find that no only can you buy an official, correctly-sized alternative, but it looked pretty cool for a little boys bedroom.

Firstly, they are definitely over-priced - if I had even a modicum of sewing ability I would just make myself one in some funky, interior-matching fabric, since they are obviously such a simple design. However, I don't, so this seemed ideal for us.

On receiving the item, it was packaged nicely, but when opening it up I found the material was not as soft or good quality as I expected from an official Clevamama product. That said, I don't know whether the weird fabric used is to make sure it stays extra-breathable for safety, so don't want to judge too harshly on that. I put it pattern side up during the day, and turn it over for nighttime, as the join between the blue fabric and patterned strip would be a bit uncomfortable...

My son loves his new pillow. I purchased the pillow case as it would seem other pillow cases would struggle to fit the pillow properly.

Not as good as I'd hoped!, 29 Sept. 2015

Great pillow. Really soft and not too high for my 1 year old. Unfortunately bought the pillow case which is made of a really scratchy material. The pillow actually has a soft pillowcase as part of it that is removable and made of a kind of fleece material. You can buy replacements for this. Plus I found that my mothercare pillowcare fitted perfectly.
