It's adjustable and great that I can fit the guard to my fireplace in length. The clips for the top aren't don't hold it tight to the sides and therefore it's very shaky. There was a snapped piece on mine which could catch your fingers. I needed to use it straight away so I improvised and used some of the clips to cover it

This fire guard was quick and easy to put (I did it by myself in around 20 minutes). It also has a decent top, meaning that little one can't climb over it! The only issues I came across was connecting the two sides together; because the outer bar is thicker, it was quite tricky to make sure that they slotted together well enough that I could screw them together, but I got there in the end. Also, I found it a little tricky to bolt it to the wall as the fixtures wouldn't quite fit, but I think this was more of an issue with the structure of my fireplace rather than the product itself, as the fireplace is on a wall that is protruding slightly from the rest, meaning I needed it to go back further than it could. However, it's more of something just to bear in mind if you have something similar.

The Fireguard does what it says on the tin, the only thing I would like is the clips that keep it together actually just unclipped so that it does not have to be up all the time
