Unlike the other reveiwer we haven't had any problems with this temperature indicator. It's very easy to use and the colour change is very obvious. Just throw it in the bath and see which squares go pink, then add hot/cold water as needed.

Rubbish!, 22 April 2009

perhaps I was just unlucky enough to receive a faulty one, but this 'safety' temp gauge only signals too cold and too hot!! If I was to have not bothered continuing with my own tried and tested 'wrist dip' method, my little girl would have been seriously scolded by now! I generously gave it one star because my baby now uses it as a bath toy to spash around with; the only use its fit for!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!

This dolphin is a cool novelty, the idea is simple. There are 3 squares, the change from purple to pink as the temperature increases. I find it difficult to see the difference between the purple and the pink. I have to hold it up to the light to see it and even then I struggle. However it is simple to use and effective.
