not splash proof, 7 Nov. 2012

I bought two of these but neither of these are splash proof, they do keep a toddler warm from the wind and add a valuable layer of insulation but they do not manage to keep knees dry if the child falls on wet grass. They can not cope with puddles either.The really sad thing is the stitching etc is good and the put up with toddler tumbles just a shame that they can't cope with even the slightest splashing.

I have given this item 5 stars as the item is fit for the purpose intended of which my daughters nursery are venturing outside over the coming month during winter and spring and will enjoy playing in the snow, mud, rain, puddles etc and not get their personal clothes ruined and these are easy to clean and will serve double figures in use, great product......

Lovely colour, perhaps too long on arms and legs, but better on the safe side. You can dress the kid really warm and just put that on top for a rainy day or to go in a muddy park, saves you loads of washing. Got one for each child. But careful, they can get really hot in it if you overdo layers. Got a 110cm for my 3 year old and a 100 for my 18 month. ONLY problem is that the zip doesn't stay up, so you need to keep zipping it up every now and again. Not amusing when you have 2 kids with the same issue. All in all good, I hope they last.
