This is the second Sleep Sheep On the Go we've had. The first one was a gift and not used much by our first child. The second one we replaced ourselves when the first one stopped working - the internal sound machine went crackly then even in spite of a battery change, stopped working all together. The second one has lasted less than FOUR MONTHS! Our second child now 18 months has particularly LOVED this little sheep and falls asleep every sleep time with one of the sounds on this little sheep going along. He was a reflux baby and so post that trauma this sleep sheep has been wonderful to get him sleeping and the sounds it make triggering an understanding that it's sleep time now. He even presses the buttons in the night if he wakes to turn it back on again to go back to sleep and sometimes sleeps with his head pushed right up against it on the side of the cot as a comfort thing. But it's frustrating beyond words to have a second sleep sheep stop working all together as it's not...

I use this to block out noise if baby needs to sleep. It also helps them drift off if they are tired but not managing to fall asleep. I like the rain setting of all sounds. There's a 23 minute and 45 minute setting. I first thought this product was expensive but it's turned out to be the best product I've brought to help baby sleep. Best of all it's so portable. It took me one month to get to like the product. I didn't think it worked at first but one morning, house was noisy and baby couldn't sleep, 20inutes with sound on and he was fast asleep.

Finally tried the Sleep Sheep when our 15 month old stopped going to sleep easily. It's amazing, he focuses on it and seems to calm down when in the past he'd start to fight sleep. If he wakes up, we can turn it on and he goes back to sleep. Only had it a week and already can't imagine how we managed without it. We have the On The Go version and it's fine, it's completely portable but the sound quality is fine for what it does. If you're having sleep troubles, definitely give it a try!
