Nice idea, but...

1) the tape that comes with it does not secure it to the table's edge. I fixed the guards on where I wanted and within 2 hours all have curled back up, no matter how hard I pressed them on. I think this is partly because they are stored and delivered rolled up the wrong way around - it will just make them curl up as the material is used to that position - unless you're happy to use a gluegun to fix these (I haven't tried that though)

2) it's clear, yes, but if you use it on a black table, the tape itself will make it very much visible

3) I tried to remove it because of the curl up problem and it took the veneer of my coffee table (see photo) - I just pulled it up. Once I learnt it does this I was extra super careful with the other bits when removing and just very gently tried to peel it away sideways rather than upwards

4) it's still quite hard - I tried to bump my head into the table where there was no protection and where this...
