What a fantastic baby car seat! The first thing to hit you is the great colour scheme - not really duck egg in my opinion, more of a darkish greeny blue - with a nice colourful pattern underneath the raincover/hood. Given the dull blacks and greys of most car seats, this is a welcome change.
But more importantly, the functions. A really nicely padded insert for newborns is included that looks really snug - just what you'd want straight out of hospital or for those first trips out. The straps come with shoulder/chest pads and the crotch/tummy padding around the main buckle is really substantial. It all looks and feels really nice for little ones. Also included is an integrated raincover/hood, which can be easily pulled up as needed to cover the top of the car seat, as well as a separate raincover that can be attached to cover the rest of the car seat if needed.

This arrived over the weekend just in time for a test drive on a day trip out.
I got the 'Duck Egg' version and have to say that I think the colour scheme is somewhat of an aquired taste!
The seat itself seems very well made. It's all very sturdy and very well padded compared to some other car seats i've seen... If I could fit in it i'm pretty sure i'd be quite comfortable and have no problem nodding off!
It comes with the standard ISOFIX connections and you can buy a quick release ISOFIX base separately but my car isn't ISOFIX compatible so I used it with just the standard seat belt fitting. It's no more fiddly or difficult to fit this way than other car seats and i'm satisfied with the security of it in comparison to a Graco Evo I also owned previously.
The carry handle locks into position with two quick release buttons which can be a bit fiddly as they both have to be released at the same time requiring two hands so a single hand release...
