Worked it out in the end and it was worth it!, 15 April 2015

This is a nice bright good looking baby seat (If there is such a thing!) and it certainly looks and feels very sturdy. When it arrived there were no instructions either in the box or in a little pouch at the back of the chair which I assumed were an instruction holder. As a result of this I spent some time googling this model and found that most sites were advertising it as a '0-4' rather than a 9 month to 4 year old seat as per the amazon web page as the seat can be installed either front facing or rear facing for new borns. Concerned that I may get this wrong (We have a 4 year old and a baby due in about two weeks at the time of writing so I wanted to ensure that I had things right and wanted to use the seat for the newborn) I called the manufacturer in the UK. To save you the leg work I will recount some of the conversation which is essentially this. This is advertised as a Cosatto Koochi seat, which it is, however the manufacturer is Koochi, so if you go to the Cosatto web site...

Absolutely fantastic seat – but for permanence only!, 16 May 2015

To start off with, this is the hardest car seat I have ever seen to install – even with a lot of time spent initially is was just a maze of experimentation and testing trying to get the thing in place in the back seat of the hatchback. And I think I am at a bit of a loss as it was never planned to be a permanent fixture in the car (the little man for whom it is if for doesn't come round that regularly) so the only negative part of my review probably won't be a problem for the permanent planned car seat, as it is just such a hard thing to install, take out, install and so on.

But when it comes down to the actual use, it is just brilliant. The material on the sides is smooth, padded and very strong and so trustworthy, the straps are also strong and very robust and further give an air of durability, actually, the whole thing looks like a slick racing seat what with the green colour scheme.

Overall this is definitely the best car seat I have ever seen, but if...

I was very impressed with the amount of packaging the Cosatto Koochi Switch Up car Seat arrived in,the outer box was about the size of a washing machine,that's not a complaint,when being delivered in the post,the more packaging the better.I agree with the previous reveiwer,there were no instructions so plenty of googling,sorted things out.I really like the bright colours of the car seat and it indeed is a strong car seat and the fact its easy to install and fits with standard three point seabelts and has five point safety harness are surely, a great selling point,I find the price very reasonable too.The covers themselves are very easy to remove and are washable,essential for food and liquid spillages,the seat liner itself comes in two parts.Highly recommend this Car Seat!
