This is a traditional fully sprung cot bed mattress made from steel coil springs specially designed and developed for the nursery market. The springs hold enough tension to support a toddlers body weight, but yet enough flex and sink to reassure they are comfortable at night. The coil springs are boxed in by a layer of hypo allergenic, open cell foam. This combination works wonderfully and together offers a great quality, supportive and durable mattress. The open cell structure of the spring & foam, creates excellent air movement, dispersing heat & moisture, therefore helping to create a more comfortable & healthier sleeping environment for babies & young chidren. This mattress has been complimented by a fully zipped, removeable and washable quilted cover, which has a water repellent characteristic. Due to the fragile nature of the nursery industry, we have made sure this mattress meets the exact UK legal standards. This mattress is fully compliant to the BS7177:2008 regulations of fire retardancy.
