I have tried a few root touch ups,and this is my least favourite, the application head is small -making it hard work to cover up much of an area, also the consistency is a bit 'wet'...by far the best touch up product in my opinion is 'tween time', it lasts ages and you get a broader area coverage, also the colour is spot on for dark brown hair.

It may not be perfect BUT, 3 Jun. 2014

I have been using these touch up pens for a few years now and there's nothing as good on the market. Schwarzkopf used to sell a superb touch up pen but discontinued it. So I moved on to this pen and yes, it may be a bit tacky after applying but it's so easy to apply and if you inadvertently get any on your clothes, I find it comes out in the wash. Much better than a mascara type touch up pen as it doesn't get caught up my in my long hair. Medium brown has a slight red brown tint to it but blends in well. Lasts 2-3 months too so it's very good value for money.
