Lovely scent and talc-free., 4 April 2012

I have an 85 year old mother. What to buy her for Christmas/bithdays is a nightmare. She doesn't wear jewellery, doesn't really like cut flowers (too much of a nuisance to look after and they're her words, not mine!), doesn't own a DVD player so no movies, not really a slippers wearer, buys her own clothes so no help there, well as you can see my choices are limited!

But she has often commented that you cannot buy scented talcs, soaps or really nice hand creams from high street shops any more. Yes it's old fashioned but she is, so thanks to Amazon for selling the beautiful Crabtree and Evelyn range. Bought all three of the above mentioned items in the Summer Hill scent and it is just gorgeous! This powder isn't talcum, which I know can be an irritant for some people. This is really nice quality powder and completely talc-free.

You can't beat quality and this range is exactly that. Pricy? Yes but you get what you pay for and worth every penny to see how pleased my...

I used to be a Talcaholic, but then after all the bad press changed to non-talc talc. This one is gorgeous, has a delicate scent that doesn't fight with anything else and the powder is fine and light, a little goes a long way. Also I like it as the packaging is metal and not poisonous plastic. Took one star off as the top is a bit clanky and not the easiest to turn.

I wanted a talc-free powder and one without nasty chemicals like parabens, aluminium etc.This powder comes in the prettiest container, with a very nicely made turn top, and the powder is very fine and doesn't go all over the place when you put it on. I have incredibly sensitive skin but this is absolutely great, no reaction at all, so it is truly skin-friendly.After a shower I feel so fresh and clean after putting this on. I use it every day and many people who come close to me comment on how lovely my fragrance is, when I am only wearing this.I really cannot bear synthetic scents but this does actually smell like summer which I can say with confidence as we have many wild flower meadows here and it is like walking through one of those on a fresh summers day. Highly recommended.
