My son had this when he was 3 years old. It is a great idea and he has used it and uses it quite a lot. He dosen't always use the foam though. This toy is very durable and I would recommend.

Bought this item for my ten year old son who loves it. He has always pretended to shave like his dad and at least this keeps him away from the real razors

Irritant Foam, be carefull, 19 Jan. 2011
We got this for Christmas. My 3 year old came out in a nasty red skin rash across his face and chest after playing with the pretend shave foam in the bath. We spent the entire night applying calamine lotion before it faded by the morning. When you read the small print on the foam can it actually states that prolonged exposure to skin should be avoided. I mean are they kidding ? this is a bath toy aimed at 3 to 5 years olds with the express aim of lathering it over their delicate skin. Alex Toys did not respond to our email.
