Normally I wouldn't spend this much money on a towel for a baby, but my 16 month old son loves cows and it's difficult to keep normal towels on him after he's had a bath, as he's mobile. I would certainly reccommend this towel, although I think it's worth seeing if you can get it cheaper from one of amazon's sellers. It's very thick and warm & is floor length on my son, without being too long that he'll trip over it - so I'm confident it'll last until he's around 3. It loses a star because I think the picture is slightly misleading - it looks as if it is a poncho style - like so many other toddler towels, but it is basically a hooded towel.

Bought this for my god-daughter and she looks super cute in it! However it is quite small and will be outgrown quickly, and also the toweling is very thin. I was expecting more luxurious material for the price. Also the brown patches are a bit washed out in terms of colour. A good novelty item only I think.

Far too small for my toddler who is only two, only goes to his knees and not much to wrap around him either.
