First of all, I’ve noticed on similar products the same complaint about sticking them securely to cupboard doors, so I thought I’d offer some advise first. They do have 3M sticky pads (considered the best) so as long as you thoroughly clean the cupboard door surface first (using alcohol wipes/cleaner is best) then it should hold just fine.

However, as an extra level of security, run a line of superglue around them. You’ll never be able to remove them, of course, but being on the inside of the cupboard, does that really matter? If you don’t mind doing that, I’d recommend it for extra piece of mind. Nothing is 100% foolproof.

These are such a clever idea and if you’re not willing to drill holes in your cupboards, they’re a fantastic solution.

This set of magnetic cupboard locks come with 8 locks and 2 release keys.

They can be used in two ways; either screwed on or using the adhesive attachment.

They are simple to use and extremely effective.

The lock itself is attached to the inside of the draw or cupboard and once the draw / cupboard is closed the lock engages = locked. When you pass the magnetic key( knob ) over the lock it releases = unlocked. To re-lock the draw/ cupboard simply close it and it will lock.

A really great idea to stop children and pets getting into places they shouldn't.

The magnetic strength is incredible, really strong and the locks are great quality.

The only issue I had was the adhesive quality. The sticky pads weren't great and because of that I think I would choose to screw the locks on the doors instead . Just a bit more work but worth it to safeguard your child / pet from getting into mischief .

Eight fantadtic locks with two great keys., 22 May 2016

I received this in exchange for a honest review.

These locks impressed me greatly they are made extremely well from good quality plastic materials the locks and all accessories that go with it are very strong very robust.

Being a mother to two young children and a foster home to young children and a teenager the magnetic look is fantastic for locking them out from cupboards that contain dangerous items.

I used mine on the cupboard that we keep the bleach and other corrosive cleaners in, the great thing about this is it's magnetic so you do not need to drill holes in the doors.

I have not long replaced my kitchen so I would not be happy drilling through our new doors so this is ideal instalation was easy and quick and I did it all myself no need for my husband with this job so I left him sleeping on the sofa.

I have no issues with the key going missing as I place it on our magnetic notice board which is high enough up so the younger children can't reach...
