We have 2 of these seats now following a long decision process when we were buying the 1st seat and looking at all of the options on the market - we were very happy with this Cybex seat so now have one for each car. Our little girl is very happy and contented in the seat and the bar infront of her also serves as a little table for her snacks on long journeys as well as her headrest when she's sleepy! There is no way our little one could free herself when the 'bar' is in place and I can see the safety reasons these are classed as better than belted seats. Our 1st seat was the model up from this one, more expensive and the only difference is you get some foam filled side impact attachments on the next model up.
