These traditional heavy duty Dachstein woollen mitts have been used by generations of walkers and mountaineers. They are manufactured oversized from pure new wool, then carefully shrunk to fit. This gives them a hard wearing felted finish that is highly windproof and comfortable to wear, and although they are not waterproof, they retain their excellent insulation properties even when wet.
