Not loving my new hair...., 14 Feb. 2012

I have blonde, colour treated hair, its very thick and curly and frizzy: on a mention from my hairdresser that her friend relaxed her hair at home which made it much more managable - I purchased this kit.

Easy to follow instructions: I did a strand test with no adverse effects. So applied to all my hair, there was plenty of mixture to cover it all, which is unusual for my mane!

So the results:

My hair is straighter, but it is dry as all hell, and definately not any more managable, and the tips are destroyed im going to get them all cut off tomorrow which is a shame because I was trying to grow my hair :P This is the first time I have ever relaxed my hair, and I would never do it again: no fault of the product, I think relaxing is simply a severe process for hair.

I've definately lived and learnt: my advice would be to think very carefully about this one. My hair was in better condition with regular straightening with irons than it is now, and...
