Spicy & woody, a scent for the man. Unlike the confusing (unisex or man's scent?) fragrances of today, Zino is purely a masculine scent. It is more nicely smelled by others than the wearer. And it lasts long. Zino used to have after shave balm and shower gel. They were wonderful. It's a shame that these are not widely available.

Well I bought this from Amazon about a week ago having never come across it before which surprises me.I like strong scents like Azzaro, Aqua Brava and Quorum. Cheapies I know but they smell heavenly. Well Zino is certainly strong stuff but I am not sure whether I love it or hate it The scent reminds me of a lot of the woody EDT fragrances that were popular in the late 70's and 80's. Ingredients are listed as citreonellol, coumarin, limonene amongst others.I was tempted to buy it on the strength of the reviews on Amazon.However I have read some since that describe the scent as nauseating and sickly. I am going to give it a go to see if the scent grows on me. Its definately better than all the recent Davidoff offerings, Cool Water Champion etc which I use for bathroom air freshener.

Happy with purchase. Unfortunately arrived without cellophane wrapping but smells genuine, certainly a masculine scent. To my nose this smells like a stronger version of Chanel Pour Monsieur, like a 30 year old bag of fine sweets. Still not sure if I like it that much, it seems to change slightly every time I wear it. I find sillage and longevity are good, this is strong stuff with one or two sprays being adequate for me otherwise becomes a bit cloying. Overall I would recommend but it is the kind of fragrance to try before you buy which may be tough to do for this older, less widely available fragrance.
