Great chair, but do straps remove as quickly become grubby?!, 7 May 2014
Chair is a good fit for our baby and he seems very happy sitting in it both to eat and play. The only query I have is whether the straps remove in order to be washed? They have become covered with food etc pretty quickly and wiping them down does not get rid of all of it.

This is a great looking chair with a wonderful quick fold mechanism, meaning it takes up very little space in the kitchen. The tray is nice too. At first I was very pleased with it. However:- The straps are incredibly hard to remove, I spent 20 minutes prising one out of its hole and couldn't get the others out. This means the fabric straps cannot be cleaned properly and they end up disgusting.- from about age 1 my baby's stomach and nappy area has been squashed by the tray, and the is no way to create more space. My baby now hates the chair.- when putting the chair up it is easy to accidentally miss getting the pegs in the holes. If you do this the chair stays up for a while but can suddenly collapse. Obviously this would be the user's fault but still it should be more error proof.I've now bought a different chair and can't even sell this one because the straps are disgusting and impossible to remove for cleaning...
