very good, stops nips drying out&cracking &heals them fast if they have cracked, 26 Nov. 2014

my sister in law gave me this along with another (a lanolin one) saying the other was better but i actually found this one to be better! it was my second time around breastfeeding but i did still get a bit scabby initially and this is a nice consistency so you can dab on a good blob of it and it really made a difference right away whereas first time around i used something else and it took ages for the scabs to heal and each time id feed they'd crack and it was agony!! Anyway, this kept them moist so they didn't crack so they healed really quickly and stayed soft. (Anyone reading this who hasn't done it before will be thinking 'wooaaahhh!!' ;-D) Just make sure your latch is good &you get as much boob in their mouth as poss as i think mine poor nips got beaten up bad due to baby just sucking the nipple (so effectively stretching it right out which kinda hurts!) it honestly doesn't hurt for too long and is so so worth the initial clenching teeth grimace when you put them on...
