I purchased this for my daughters bedroom and I feel that it is very suitable for a 2.5 year old as it's the right height and the containers are easy for her access and handle. I also feel it looks nice in her room room too. There are a couple of reasons however that I didn't give it 5 stars and they are that it was late to arrive to the point I had to contact Amazon to find out why. I also feel that the containers should have been made of a stronger material ie plastic not material. But apart from that it matches all other description listed by the seller.
