These are fantastic. I have a very adventurous little girl and as a result I have put these on all the televisions in the house. It can also be used to secure other items round the house if you have little ones that like to climb. Much better quality than I expected and I would highly recommend these to anyone. I was able to secure my 50'' tv with this so they are very strong.

The idea of having preventative straps to avoid young children pushing flat screen TVs over is a great one. Clearly, if the TVs are pushed over there can be damage to the TV itself or more importantly if the TV falls on the child, given its weight, this could easily be hazardous to the child. The straps provided attach at one end to the back of the TV by screws, while the other end fits lower down either attached to the cupboard on which the TV stands or secured against the back wall. This means that the TV is secured from tipping forward from the top.

In general, the straps provided are strong as they need to be given that pulling or pushing the TV forward from the top carries a higher load that just the “shove” (the large height of the TV relative to the short base means that there is high leverage).
