We needed to get a latch to secure our kitchen cupboards and drawers and these were great. I didn't want to have to screw anything onto the doors so the adhesive tape was perfect. Easy to install and use and perfect for keeping my daughters hands away from slamming doors and away from the contents of the cleaning cupboard with bleach and harmful fluids. Could be used on cupboards all over the house so i'll probably need to buy more at some point.Really handy to have in the house!

Perfect for keeping toddlers out!, 11 Aug. 2013

These work VERY well, i bought a few packs of these as they work so good, they are very versatile, you can use them everywhere, i used them on my washing machine door, fridge door (they are brilliant on corners!!), kitchen cabinet doors and drawers, wardrobes, chest of drawers etc etc, don't forget they are too long for using on some cabinets so you'd need to buy the mini latches for them, i used the mini latches on my washing machine dispenser tray too as my lad keeps opening it and putting in small things lol.

Good thing about these is you don't have to drill into your things to attach them, which is perfect for renters like me, also you can take them off when your child gets older or you move, i haven't tried this yet though, the packet says you'd need to use a rubber cement solvent or eucalyptus oil.Then to reuse them it says to buy some strong double sided tape.

22/12/13 EDIT: After 5 months the strips all started to split so are no good, you'll need to buy...

I've had these for a few months now and they have held up pretty well, with the exception of one (I did buy 2 packs, so 1/6 isn't bad). 2 year old still has no idea how to unlatch them, and the sticky side is, well, STUCK. Since we rent, I couldn't go around screwing in other types of latches, so these are perfect. I actually need to buy more now!
