We bought this item to secure the kitchen cabinets. After reading many reviews on non screw type safety locks, we took our chances on ordering ones that had not been reviewed, as they appeared to be exactly what we were looking for and so far, so good. They are easy to apply and are easy enough to lock and unlock and would be very difficult for any baby or toddler to open. the plastic appears pretty strong with baby pulling on the door handles, there is a little give, so care is still required with little fingers on double doors, works brilliantly on corners and don't look too bad on the outside off the cabinets. A good buy and not bad value if they last?

Customer Video Review Length:: 2:04 Mins I obtained a couple of these latches about 5 months ago in a 'Dreambaby Safety Kit' and was impressed as to how well they worked without needing a drill to tamper with cupboards.The two we had worked great and kept the little one out of trouble, I’ve now purchased more for the rest of the kitchen cupboards (both single handle and double opening cupboards) and for the bathroom.We only lock the latches when the little one is having dinner or playing around in the kitchen otherwise we can leave them off if need be.I’ve personally found the adhesive to be strong and the latches easy to fit on and pull away when need be.

Don't know what I'd do without them. This type of latch is the best in my experience if it's well made. Dreambaby latches stick very well, you just have to leave them to grip a bit when you stick them on. With some other brands I've used before, the plastic around the holes starts breaking and gives way after a while - meaning the kids can open the latch and you have to replace it with a new one. Haven't had that problem with Dreambaby so far, after several months of use the plastic shows no signs of wear and tear. I find the shorter latches more useful for most things than the long ones and they tend to be cheaper (also bought a pack of 5 Dreambaby mini latches).
