Great thermometer but a sinking duck., 2 Mar. 2014

I was very excited about this. In the first couple of baths it was great. The light is useful and it seems to be very precise with temperature intervals between a tenth of a degree Celsius. But after a few baths it began to fill with water and now capsizes so you can no longer see the temperature when it is half in the water due to diffraction. I have to hold it upright in position to see the temperature and make sure it's reading correctly. The temperature function hasn't been compromised but it is a pain. I tried to empty the water out but it transpires there is a hole in the middle of the duck behind the head next to the sensor components that is very difficult to get to and once you do it is impossible to pour the water out. Water tips to the tail end where there is no hole. I would recommend popping out the middle sensor and display and filling the hole with silicone before you use it. I may need to make a new hole to get the water out and then fill both holes... Hassle...

I have MS so can't rely on my own skin to gauge temperature, so being able to rely on a thermometer that is also fun for my 2 year old is great.Would recommend.

Good thermometer but.., 12 May 2014
Cute and always works, BUT collects water that we have not figured out how to get rid of, mould fantastic. Would not buy again, despite always working and cute.
