The ultimate doorstop?, 7 July 2009

Had just fitted and oiled new oak internal doors just in time for my daughter to begin tonking around in her baby walker which bashes in to everything. Tried many door stops to hold the doors open and in one place. This is very simple, very strong and easy to fit. Yes it is only a door stop...but it's a good one.

When the baby learned to stand, then cruise etc, it turned out his fave game was swinging on the doors. Any door would do. I have 2 of these and they are great. Neither the baby or toddler can move the door when these are underneath.

Great product to keep youngsters safe from potential door injuries. Requires minimal under door clearance. Strong but not indestructible. Ours snapped when the cleaners used excessive force to close a door with the Gripper in place!
