Slightly disappointing as the scarf is a very horrible cheapy polyester, only striped on one side. I dressed it up by adding bigger fabric baubles for buttons (which I was always planning on doing) and covered the scarf with some nicer material. The body of the suit is soft and it is quite padded. An extra button down the front would be good so it opened up a bit more as the padding makes it difficult to pull on and off. Also, despite this being for a 12 month old, the packaging helpfully said not for children under three. Ridiculous. But overall, quite sweet.
