My friend recommended this to me and it's the best buy. It provides a soft and safe flooring for my baby to play on now that he's learning to sit, stand, crawl, play etc. so if and when he fell over I know he's not going to hurt himself badly compared to the laminate flooring. It's quite thick and spongy, if and when my baby does actually fall over by accident, there is some sort of cushioning, it wouldn't be a hard hit. This mat is waterproof so it's very easy to clean up with a cloth or wet wipe. I feel this is more hygienic. I just get a dettol wet wipe to wipe away any mess in a second. I have experienced many times when my baby has spilled milk, water, spit up and so on, unlike the cotton play mats where one would have to keep washing it. Not like the "jigsaw" mats either where the leakage will seep through down the cracks, but that's just my opinion. The mat is very large, I've had to rearrange my living room furniture to make room for this mat, we don't use a rug anymore,...

Saw this playmate at friends house and decided to get one. Superp quality. Thick and cusioning - Perfect for winter... It's not cheap, but worth the money. There is a talking pen in both English and mandarin, which is perfect for us and my toddler loves playing with the pen. It's been dropped many times already and still works perfectly. Quality is good. Another bonus point is - no smell. I don't like those products with strong plastic smell, this one is great. Feel safe for little ones to crawel and play on top.

I bought this mat for my 5 months baby girl. It is quite heavy and thick, which makes it more safety to my baby. She likes to throw her head when she turns her body, which worried me a lot. With this mat, she looks very happy to turn: face up face down face up and face down again. and now she is 6 months, we already used this mat for 1 month. She enjoys rolling herself all over the mat. And my husband and I can leave her alone on the mat for a while. Really soft and safe.And, the picture is very lovely. My baby loves the sun on it.
