I bought this toy for my one year old grandson, because he loves to bang things - spoons on his highchair table, etc. He was delighted with the drum, and uses one of the marracas to bang it which makes a hell of a noise! He's delighted with this! Not sure about his mum and dad though! Good strong and well made product, safe for kiddies over 1 year old.

Is is a lovely collection of high quality baby/child musical instruments. No sharp edges, no loose parts but, be warned, like a lot of instruments, these can be a bit LOUD!!!!Joking aside, my great-grandson loves the maracas and uses them both for the sound and as a teething item. Any child would love these - highly recommended

The joy in baby's face just by seeing it was out of the ordinary. She loves each piece more - they are robust but also very attractive. This was an excellent intro to her love for music
