My daughter is so dextrous, I wanted to encourage her skills. These nesting eggs with a chick inside interests her everyday. I hide different things in the separate eggs, or keep them all together for her to find the chick. At 11 months, she is now able to put the eggs back together sometimes. I can see this toy lasting for some time. Well made, simple toy with the benefit of no batteries or noise!

16 month old likes them but they are too slippy and hard for him to handle properly and do not stay together .they are always separating which us frustrating for him. Good idea need to think of texture in future.

My daughter enjoys playing with these and hiding the chick in different eggs but the down side is that they come apart too easily. They fall apart before her little hands can even try and open them.
