Made from solid wood, the East Coast Curve Multi-Height Highchair converts to junior chair by removing tray and foot rest. We recommend the use of an insert cushion, particularly with a smaller child (available separately). Suitable from 6 months. Supplied with a black plastic tray and optional wooden bumper bar. I really don’t like the idea of the plastic and steel type, 8 Oct. 2017
Bought for the wooden construction and does feel substantial, solid and well planted. I really don’t like the idea of the plastic and steel type, though they are lighter to lift about.Easy to construct and looks good. Baby sits in it happily (but then she knows food is coming...) The ‘Solitaire’ padded insert we purchased separately fits fine, though interferes with the shoulder straps - however, we don’t use those, only the lap/crotch straps which are fine... not great quality and a little fiddly, but secure and adequate.Position is nice and upright, she looks comfortable enough. The tray isn’t huge, but for us that’s a bonus - we can pull the chair up to our dinner table and are close enough to feed easily. There will be plenty of room for a bowl in there later.All in all, quite pleased.
