A pack of 10 lovely soft bamboo boosters/inserts for adding extra absorbency to all types of washable nappies. Made from 2 layers of soft bamboo, making lovely absorbent boosters. I am still beginner at using reusable nappies but mine were leaking and after doing a little bit of research I suspected that it was happening because my boy is a heavy wetter.
I ordered these to try and see if that would solve the problem.
Firstly these boosters have arrived very fast and were (in my opinion) well packaged (water proof packet but not excessively wrapped). The boosters themselves look great and are made of mainly natural fibres (90%) which is more than acceptable the other 10% I believe is polyester but I am not sure and cannot find the label.
Secondly I did give them a strip wash at 90 degrees with soapnuts and extra rinses and must say they have shrunk a little but that is to be expected from a natural fabric. I must add here for those who do not know that bamboo whilst a natural fibre is in the viscose family of fabrics due to the process of how it is made; the so called 'anti-fungal' properties of bamboo are mythological; one can always...
