It's easy to get caught up in buying the "complete set" of themed stuff when you're first shopping for your child. Ellie & Raff is a cute theme that appealed to both my wife and I. We've bought a number of items from the range and have generally been happy. With this latest acquisition I've been a bit disappointed.

This is a fairly standard hooded baby towel, where the hood is made of a second piece of material over one corner. It's nicely edged to stop things fraying and make it look pretty and there's some nice embroidery of Ellie & Raff on the hood. All good so far.

What disappointed me is that the hood is a single piece of cloth, so the back of the embroidery, with all it's rough edges and loose threads, sits against baby's head. We have a couple of other towels and they used a doubled over piece of cloth to make the hood, ensuring that there's a nice fluffy lining against baby's head, particularly when they are embroidered. I'd thought it would be standard...

This item is not 100% cotton, it is in fact 100% polyester and I am very disappointed on how thin the material is. Do not buy this item, it is nothing like the description and a waste of money that you will probably never use!

Towel doesn't feel to be of particularly good quality and design isn't particularly appealing. Not a dreadful product but can't think of any reason to recommend it to you
