Don't stick!!!, 23 Mar. 2010

Having stuck these on and left them for a while, my 10 month old grandson then pulled them all off as the sticky pads are useless!In the end stuck them on with No More Nails as I'd rather they be on forever than him hurting himself.They do what they say but be prepared to find an alternative way of sticking them on.

From the images it looks like these slide on to the glass edge of a table, covering the top and bottom - they don't. They're stuck on with double-sided sticky tape, and since they're quite thick, they'll overlap most (if not all) glass tops leaving plenty of the cushion for an inquisitive toddler (i.e. all of them) to start picking at. This has the end result of said toddler handing you the cushion with a look of "Hey, did you know this was stuck to your table?Here, fixed it for you" on their face.Possibly more useful on thicker, wooden tables, but pointless on glass - and since these are being sold for use on glass, they get one star.

Purchased a Pack of 4 for £2.43 from Saving world, and they were delivered very fast indeed....Was'nt too sure if they would fully cover the depth of my 10mm thick Glass Coffee Table, but they fitted just perfect.I opted not to use the included adhesive pads, as I know they really do'nt stick well enough and will come off at some point.I used clear silicone on mines, knowing that's them on for life.They are noticeable, but I knew that and wanted that - To be able to notice then when walking past... but they are what they are, and I feel a lot safer having the grandchildren being saved from knocks against the edges of the table, which, even as adults, we would bash our knee against the glass as even we do'nt notice it - being transparent eh?I'm very happy with these items from a safety point of view, and also the price.... so if your here looking for similar, then look no further.
