Was easy enough to install, however on the bowl the adhesive partly came away over night, because the plastic isn't shaped to fit a curved surface. That said it hasn't come away any further over the last couple of months and has held up to vigorous cleaning and strong interest from our one year old son! Overall, good value for money.

Our grand-daughter has reached the age when she is fascinated by the toilet, and is at risk of taking a header into it. So I decided we needed to get some sort of safety lock on the lid.

Having read the reviews on several toilet locks,I realised that the cheap stick-on locks do not always work well. So I decided to go for the dearer lock. Unfortunately it was not available! So I went back to the stick-on ones, and chose the Emmay Care Toilet Lock. I bought two. I thought perhaps the people who had not managed to make them work had perhaps not followed the instructions properly?, perhaps had not cleaned the surfaces thoroughly?

So we tried one of the locks. We cleaned the surfaces of both the toilet and the seat meticulously, and followed the instructions to the letter.

Hard to open, 20 Aug. 2010

The lock works and installs fine but I find them hard to open, especially if you have nails. If you put these on a highly used toilet or cupboard/drawer then you will get frustrated easily. I feel the Baby Dan version is much easier to open.
