Lovely little musical jewellery box that's ideal for young girls, 30 May 2016

My young daughter has several items of cheap jewellery , due to her age, and wanted somewhere to keep it safely and securely.

I decided to purchase this musical jewellery box as it seemed to be ideal for her and I thought that every little girl should own a musical box of their own.

It arrived quickly and was securely packaged

It is made from thin , but good quality wood that is decorated with glitter and nicely painted pictures of fairies and butterflies etc.

There is a handy drawer in the bottom of the box with a lovely little handle.

The top of the box opens up to reveal a slightly pink plush inside with spaces to keep small items and there is a row of ring holders. Once the box is opened the little girl on a spring pops up and spins round slowly. The key for the movement and tune is situated at the back of the box. The music played is called "Blue Danube".

There is also a little mirror in the lid of the box.

Watch the little girl dancing round and round, 26 May 2016

This music box arrived and was exactly what I was expecting and hoping for. Something a little girl will love to hide her treasures in her bedroom within and the little drawer is perfect for keeping secret items in too.

The little dancing doll is very cute and the tune is nice too in the traditional plinkety plink of a children's music box, quite hypnotic to listen to really if you let it, it would send you in to a trance! You can store necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets in all the little special holders.

On the back of the box is the key with which you can wind up the music box. The lid is securely hinged and the drawer has a nice little knob on it that you can pull to open.

There are loops and troughs to store the jewellery in and these are lined with soft pink material. It's not luxury padded but it will suit a little person and is a pretty shade of pink.

I think this would make a lovely gift for a young girl. I would repurchase...

I have purchased this item for an eight year old girl who is a proper girl who loves all things pink! This product is a delight from start to finish. From opening the product to the reveal the beautifully decorated box to actually using the product, nothing disappoints. The box itself is made from high quality materials that will survive a drop or two if needed. The decoration of the box is ideal for any little girl but even more so if they are a budding ballerina, the ballerina revealed when lifting the lid enhances the look of delight on the child face. The inside of the box is also finished off well again with good quality materials. The drawer at the bottom is ideal for keeping the items that a child feels are special to them and want to keep for themselves to show off when they want to.
