Lovely fabric and stretchy for bigger thighed babies!, 2 Jan. 2017

I bought these as an alternative to a lot of the baby pants on the market, which tend to be more slim fitting apart from perhaps joggers that tend to look a bit 'cheap'. My baby has large thighs for his age (and is tall), so we went for 8-15 months for our 7 month old. As expected, they are too long for him still so we fold up a couple of times (sometimes need re-folding since he's a crawler now), but on the plus side, there's plenty of growing room! Better still, it's a joy to see that he's not constrained while moving about or sat down! The best thing is that they are very stretchy! They fit very well with reusable/cloth nappies (even when he's older). I was worried about the burden of hand washing, but it's very simple and quick (I use baby shampoo) and they dry very quickly. It's reassuring that the pants are soft, natural fibres. I don't tend to have him out in these alone in winter though as the material is quite thin even if they have thermoregulating properties, or if I do, I...

I bought this for our son to have when he grows bigger- tho I always have loads of wool and wool and silk clothes already. 'Being from Scandinavia I find Wool or wool/silk blend clothes a must. As the UK isn't the warmest country either, these are perfect. these are a blend of wool and silk so it makes them perfect for colder days, but also when it's getting warmer.I use wool and silk clothes with woolen tights under on colder days, and just the wool and silk on warmer days.My son loves this and keeps him at a perfect temperature.
