What's not to like 5-stars. Great, easy to use scales with over-sized display for in your face reading. Another great Etekcity product, with really accurate read-out. Modern design which will compliment most bathrooms. Comes well packaged with batteries already installed, remove the contact tap and the scales are ready for use. Automatic on/off activated by use of scale and turns off around 15 seconds later. The quality is really good with tempered safety glass, so no worries about breakage during normal use. Sensor pads on the bottom of the scales record your weight in either kilos or lbs. The soft senor pads also double as a safety feature for non-slip grip. Switch on bottom of scales for choosing one or the other. Do not use on a soft surface as the reading will not be accurate. Had a promo code for this product, so really happy with the end results. Yes, I highly recommend these scales. Etekcity seems to be producing really good items these days, 5 stars.

Excellent build, simple and practical, 10 Sept. 2016

This item arrived securely packaged in Amazon’s standard cardboard packaging to avoid any damage during shipment. The item arrived on time as expected. This is a nice looking basic scale. It is made of thick 8mm tempered glass that can hold up to 180kg/400lbs, so I'm not worried about it cracking or breaking when stepping on it. The scale measured around 12 inches making this easy to store in a closet or cabinet. I also found it big enough for someone with a larger frame to stand on comfortably. The clear center window is a nice feature and makes it look great anywhere you put it. You can set it to read your weight in kg. or lbs. by pushing a small button on the bottom of the scale. The scale also seems accurate, as it said the same weight as my other, more expense scale. I had my wife and kids try it as well and they all read accurate to the more expensive scale. The digital read out display has bright blue 1" numbers that are easy to read. The scale will also indicate when...

An Attractive And Stylish Scale - A Perfect Addition To Your Bathroom, 6 Sept. 2016

After ordering this bathroom scale I was worried about it breaking or being damaged through the delivery process. That worry disappeared after I saw how safely wrapped this package was when I opened it – the scales were hugged securely with polystyrene foam padding.

The package contains:

* An Etekcity Digital Scale (with x 2 AAA batteries inserted already)

* A Body Measuring Tape (goes up to 150cm)

* A User Manual

I love the design of this product as the appearance looks very modern and innovative – it would fit in almost any bathroom (however it may not be good for a bathroom that has carpet as sticker attached on front of the scale clearly states that inaccurate readings can occur when used on carpeted flooring).

A manual is provided just in case you need help on any stage, however I didn’t have to use it at all since using scales are pretty much straightforward.
