Smelly curtains!, 17 Feb. 2015

At first I was very happy with these curtains,they arrived on time and the colours matched perfectly with the decor in my daughters room.I hung the curtains on Friday and noticed a smell coming from the lining,I thought that it would go away and that they just needed aired and left them hanging for the weekend.We went away for the weekend and returned in Sunday to a nasty smell that had spread throughout the house.I took the curtains down and washed them and aired them outside all day Monday and Tuesday.I brought them into my kitchen on Tuesday night and have had to bin them this morning (Wednesday) due to the strong smell that they have left in my kitchen. My daughters room still smells after being aired for nearly three days now.What has annoyed me most is that no one has replied to my queries about the smelly curtains,I have asked if they could explain what the smell might be and if it could be harmful to my 7 month old daughter and an still waiting on a reply.A very unhappy...
