Zero smudge; very dark colour, 4 July 2015

I like this brow crayon - to be honest, I was a little worried it would be too light (my brows are black), but it's a very dark brown and fills in nicely. Because of its lightly waxy texture, it's good for sort of grooming your brow into shape as well. I'm happy to testify it didn't smudge one bit -- I forgot I put it on and ferociously rubbed my eyes throughout the day (the brows took the brunt force), and my face stayed perfectly clean.It's a mechanical-pencil affair -- a plastic body with a rotating head, so you screw the nib out -- it makes application just a tiny bit awkward because it turns very easily. It's not a big deal, but just so you're aware. The navy-blue body was a surprise (was I going to have blue eyebrows?), but when I tested it on my hand, it was almost black. You might want to avoid this shade if your brows are a mid or light brown, unless you want to go that dark.Good pencil, overall -- happy with it!

The Eylure Defining and Shaping Crayon (in Dark Brown) is a smudge-proof Brow Crayon for adding colour, depth and definition to your eyebrows.

WHAT YOU GET:

Inside the small cardboard box you get the brow crayon which measures 12cm (with the top on). The crayon as a whole is very thin and compact making it easy to carry around with you. After removing the lid the brow crayon is brought to the top of its housing by twisting the body of the crayon. Keeping the crayon inside the housing helps protect the soft crayon when not in use.

APPLICATION:

The crayon has a very fine point on the end which makes for easy application and good definition to the brow. Being a crayon, the idea is that you gradually build up the colour to the depth and darkness you want. Excellent for defining and neatening your eyebrows, 17 July 2015

My aim when using eyebrow colour products is always to make my eyebrows look neater and more defined. I was a bit skeptical about this crayon/pencil, thinking it would look really obvious but I was pleasantly surprised with it. It doesn't put on much colour with each stroke as it's quite waxy. This is good as it looks more natural and you have to go over and build up colour in the area that you want to define or fill a few times - you don't end up drawing dark lines that you then have to wipe away. Due to the waxy texture it also keeps hairs in place. It doesn't smudge at all, but comes off very easily when you rub or wash it. There is sharpener on the end of the pencil so that you can draw with precision throughout the life of the pencil. For the price it's a really good product. For the past few months I've been using a MAC eyebrow shadow kit with a brush to make my eyebrows look more defined, the eyeshadow kit gives more coverage and is better to fill in patches with...
