This is one of the better bibs that I have found so far, but it is quite small and already fit quite tightly when our daughter was only 1 year old. However, it protects the cloths quite well, although sometimes I wish the little pocket on the bottom would be more 'open'. In order to clean it we just wipe it or wash it with soap in the kitchen sink, but in general the materials seems not very durable and one needs to be careful when washing it...
