Hours of fun creating images using peg beads on a peg board, 10 Oct. 2015

Great educational toy for children. It came in a firm plastic tear-proof bag and inside were two seperate resealable bags of beads/pegs in different colours and sizes. Also included was a picture of samples of what you can achieve with these beads/pegs and the white peg board that was in a shape of a flower accompanied them. I had fun using this and the pegs fit neatly into the board without too much effort. They don't fall out and there is a good selection of all of the colours. There are three different sizes and on the piece of paper that comes with them there is some samples and I tried the house one. It was really easy to do and actually did resemble a house when I was finished. I tried being creative and on the last photographs I have posted here I did my own basic design with "hi" not too complicated as I didn't want to end up getting frustrated lol and was going to attempt a rainbow. This Jing Q Combination Puzzle was sent to me for review and comes nicely boxed and the contents include 350 "mushroom nails", a flashboard, 8 threading plates, 8 colourful ropes, a basket and a colour illustrated instruction book. In a nutshell the flashboard is a perforated grille into which you can plug the supplied "nails" and threading plates to form pictures. The immediate impression is of good quality product which is made from ABS and the lid of the sturdy storage box is used as the "flashboard" grid..

This toy took me back to my youth and Fuzzy Felt where you could stick felt shapes onto a board. In this update you can either make some of the pictures in the illustrated instruction book or use your imagination - there are few limits. Lovely, robust pegboard / lacing set with templates. Loads of play value. Great for early writing/maths skills. Suitable 4 yr+., 25 July 2015

This is a great creative play set, consisting of a pegboard with over 300 large and small coloured plastic pegs, 8 shaped lacing templates with animals and transport themes and a bundle of sturdy, long laces for lacing. The laces can be used not just on the lacing templates but on the actual pegboard too.

It's all so much better than it looks in the photographs here. I'd expected a small pegboard tray of brittle plastic and a few beads - wrong! I used similar sets as a registered childminder many years ago, but didn't have one as good as this.

The peg board measures 10 x 7 inches - big enough to be used by two children at the same time. It's made of robust, flexible polythene that is virtually unbreakable. There are both large and small pegs in a wide range of colours, not just the primary shades but black, purple, orange and green too.
