Misleading info on batteries, 10 Oct. 2011

The hobby horse looks great, arrived very quickly and is great value for money. However, I feel that the information stating that the product requires 2 AA batteries is misleading. The information does state that these are included, but I would expect from this that they will need to be replaced in future. This is not the case. They are in a sealed unit, and once they've run out, that's it. I avoided other similar products for this very reason (having read reviews here), so was very disappointed that I ended up with exactly this problem. PLEASE make it explicit for future buyers that "requires 2 AA batteries included" refers to a sealed unit that cannot be replaced. Having said all that, the toy looks lovely, I'm sure the three year old girl it's a present for will love it, and we'll just keep our fingers crossed that the battery lasts for a good amount of time.

Sparke pinky hobby horse - great value, 23 May 2013

My daughter is obsessed with horses and adores this pink hobby horse. She runs around with it all day. It's not as solid as some more expensive hobby horses but I actually prefer that as my daughter is often swinging it around so nobody gets hurt! It is cute and great value for money, would definitely recommend.
