Possibly one of the cutest things I've seen for younger children and we love it.

Not the biggest toy box in the world though and won't hold a lot of big, bulky toys or play sets. Part of that is due to the fact there are two safety brackets that fit into the box which, though essential, prevent the lid from fully opening (or slamming shut). They take up quite a bit of room but; the lid is one, solid lump of wood and if that was to fall on little heads and fingers....doesn't bear thinking about!. I'm so happy with the safety features. You really have to press down hard on the lid before it closes and it stays open until you do.

The box is mounted on castors. Two have a tiny brake which, again, makes the toy box more secure but also easy to trundle around when you want to move it. Remember when assembling the box to mount the castors with the brakes together either two at the front or at the back otherwise it'll swivel around and won't stay securely fixed...
