Ok, but could be better made, 20 May 2015

I was really disappointed by these, not because they are dreadful, but because they looked great and have failed to deliver. To explain: they are made of some particle board, and in places, especially round the palm tree it hasn't been cut out neatly, the painting is lacking in small parts, and the colours are dull, not vibrant. So, if you can get these at a good price and don't expect a lot, you should be pleased, but I wouldn't pay a lot and hope for an amazing product. The best thing about these is that they are painted on both sides, which at least makes each book end reversible, handy if you need 2 on the same end!

A gorgeous product and looks great in my son's nursery.Only negative comment would be for the manufacturer who packaged the product as the polystyrene used in the box was terrible and stuck to the bookends making a mess everywhere when opening the box!
