We were (and continue to be) very disappointed by this children's chest of drawers.
When we first unpacked the components from the somewhat battered packaging (courier's fault or from manufacturing?) and started to lay out the pieces we were initially struck by how attractive and charming the drawers looked. I had expected the pictures on the drawers to be stenciled or printed on but they are in fact painted onto the heavyweight moulded MDF material giving a pleasing carved effect.
Our initial delight was cut short when we noticed a number of scuffs and paint chips on several of the pieces and on one of the handles. 'Never mind,' I thought 'I can touch those up later' (although this really is unacceptable on a piece of furniture at this price. Again whether this was done in transit or at manufacture I can't say).
But then came the assembly.
I should say at this point that we are no strangers to flat-pack furniture so anticipated no problems...
