Iv'e had other hot water bottles in the past that's had a rubbery smell to them but this one doesn't have any smell to it whatsoever when filled with boiling water.I'm am very happy with this product and would recommend it.

Great hot water bottle. Just the thing for winter nights or wherever you need some personal heat - eg a dodgy back. Unlike rubber ones, there's no smell to this one. The screw-top screws off and on easily. As ever, never fill with boiling water - always dilute it to hot. This bottle holds its heat very well and so lasts quite some time in bed.

After having our old hot water bottles for about ten years we decided to replace them with two new ones and bought some fairly cheap ones. A total waste of money; they had quite small filling holes which was a problem and they both lasted about five weeks and both burst within a few days of each other.So, I went a little 'up-market' and bought the Flashy ones and they are great; easy and safe to fill with a large filler hole and reservoir.I don't know how long they will last but they do have a feel of quality and they will certainly 'out-live' the cheap bottles.I think that the moral is 'if you but cheap then you get cheap'!
