Great product but beware of false reassurance from all sonicaids, 24 Oct. 2015

Reviewing as a pregnant midwife, I'm very happy with this sonicaid. As a midwife however, I'd like to remind unqualified people not to rely on any sonicaid if you have any concerns regarding your baby, particularly if over 24 weeks. With all due respect, you might not know whether what you're listening to is reassuring or not plus other procedures may be far more appropriate than auscultation with a regular sonicaid such as this. So whilst I'm happy with this as a sonicaid, please use with caution and always contact your local maternity unit with any concerns regarding reduced fetal movements or bleeding for example. Depending on history or gestation, you may need far more advanced tests than a sonicaid can offer you

I purchased Doppler and used it at 9+4 found heart beat almost instantly but Doppler doesn't pick up the rate as easy might be as I'm still early on

FantastIc item. I was 21 weeks pregnant when I first started using this Doppler and it was really easy to find the heartbeat and the sound is clear too. Highly recommend this to any other mums to be as it gives you reassurance in between all your scans and appointments. I couldn't live without my Doppler now
