This is a beautiful cot, but please be aware that it is a flat pack and very heavy – the pack says 27kg.

The instructions for putting it together are easy to follow and all parts, screws, etc, are in the box – all you are required to add is a screwdriver and some energy.

It took 3 of us over an hour to build this, but we were double checking the screws, etc, to ensure that they were tight and that it would not collapse with the precious one inside.

The crib itself is quite lovely in design and once it has been put together it is very strong.

There are 3 levels for base to choose from: the highest is for new born so you have easier access and not have to bend as much and you can then lower the base as your child gets older.

The best thing about a crib like this one is it gives you the opportunity to personalise it yourself for your own child. You can add touches of colour or leave it white.
