Fisher-Price Rockin' Tunes Giraffe is available in Rockers & Ride-ons

Music builds as baby rocks; four lights dance up and down the giraffe's mane. Stable rocker base makes it fun and easy for baby to climb on and off and rock back and forth and the bat-at rollerball lets baby activate music and lights, too. Interactive giraffe friend encourages baby to rock on by responding to baby's movements. The more baby rocks, the more baby is rewarded with lights and music, teaching baby about cause and effect. Climbing on and off and rocking back and forth help baby exercise gross motor skills, balance and coordination. Lights and music stimulate baby's developing senses. Suitable for 12 - 36 months, max. weight: 19.5 kg (43 lbs).

I love it. This has the X factor., 9 Sept. 2014

I love this rocker. It has a bit of a wow factor.

It's so cute and the music/volume is just the right volume and style for this age range without having that 'drive parents crazy after they've heard it 100 times' factor. Lovely soothing Campton Races type melodic backing track when rocked and a small spinner on the head which makes a galloping noise (do giraffes gallop?), whee noise and giggles. All very cute and endearing. It turns itself off very quickly after being left still with a fun noise to alert you it's going into sleep mode. No annoying carrying on for 5 mins after you've finished playing. The off and 2 volume switches are on the tummy with the sound coming out of the front of the neck away from your little ones' ears.

And then you put a toddler on it and the cute factor goes up 1000% Toddlers/prewalkers love it. The youngest child I've tried it out on is 1 in 2 days and he was still able to get the ball of his feet on the floor to push/rock. I...

Easy to put together, strong and sturdy, 9 Sept. 2014

This is a really cute toy.

After taking it out the box it was very easy and simple to put together.

The batteries are not included so in order to make full use of the features you need to make sure you have some on hand. To be honest, one of the reasons I marked down is because of the lack of batteries, for the price you pay they really should be included.

This is a really cute item. My daughter is very small for a 2 year old so she fit this perfectly.

She enjoyed the lights and sounds, they actually weren't that loud either so I didn't find it annoying after 5 mins.

This is plastic and although it's plastic it feels very sturdy and solid, it doesn't feel like it will fall apart after some enthusiastic play.

My daughter did get bored of this after an hour or so, so I think this would be perfect for up to 2 years old but obviously after that point most toddlers need a bit more. For a Fisher-Price item this is very reasonably priced and...

Cute, easy to put together and use, though a little basic, 16 Sept. 2014
As others have said, this is very cute. As a rocking horse it's also easy to use and works well. Our one year old is enjoying using it - though as others have said he has to be in the right mood otherwise gets a bit bored - have found this with all rocking horses though. The music is really nicely done as are the sound effects. The laughing makes our child smile every time.I found it simple to put together, taking around 5 minutes. It needs three AA batteries which are not provided, but it's such a common size and I have a drawer full of them.I got it free to review, however I think the price is excellent. You get Fisher-Price quality and robustness for a very good price. It's a simple design though and I suspect that helps to keep the price down. All in all it's recommended but I would say 2 years old would be the limit both in interest and size.
